Sensory Poetry – FREE 1-day workshop
Ever consider what a simile smells like? Have you wondered to yourself, “does a metaphor taste good?” If so, then come be a part of our Sensory Poetry workshop! This workshop takes a hands-on approach to learning so that poetry becomes something we touch, smell, hear, and maybe even taste! Sensory Poetry is inclusive for learners of all abilities. It’s designed especially for learners whose needs might preclude them from engaging in a sit down, more traditional workshop. But like any other writing workshop, we’ll create original poems inspired by the poets we read and the messes we make. So if you want to play with slime and write some rhymes. If you want to experiment with goo while composing haiku. Then step right up, this workshop is for you!
