Kristen, Sr. Director of Service Delivery at Comcast, thrives on discovering efficient methods to enhance organizational effectiveness and enjoys implementing processes that promote team alignment. As a strong communicator, both in person and in writing, she excels at bridging communication gaps with candor and empathy, ensuring her message is effectively conveyed. Highly organized and efficient, she takes pride in completing projects on time and under budget.
Reading and writing have always been Kristen's passions. As a child, she used writing to express feelings she couldn’t easily share aloud. Over time, she began crafting short stories that she would gift to friends and family. Kristen and her husband come from very different backgrounds; in his childhood, education and empowerment to pursue dreams were not priorities. Since they met, they've embraced journaling and writing as a way to communicate and strengthen their bond. His experiences inspire Kristen to help ensure that children today have access to the resources and opportunities he lacked.
Kristen is eager to delve into the inner workings of Uptown Stories and of our Board. She looks forward to gaining a deeper understanding of our organizational structure, vision, and key initiatives.
